Wilchcombe insists carnival budget not yet confirmed
Minister of Tourism Obie Wilchcombe said yesterday the budget for Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival has not yet been confirmed despite a Tribune report that quotes him saying the budget will be "around $3 million", which is more than $9 million less than what was spent on the inaugural event last year.
